Meet Our New Style Smile Contest Winner
Every year Hadfield Dental Care strives to give back to the community by giving a deserving heart a new smile. Meet this year's winner!
Kimberly Perrine
Dear Hadfield Dental,
I am writing you today on behalf of my sister Kimberly.
I am so happy to hear that Kim was selected as a finalist to win a new "grill from your dental practice and 97.1KZHT. To some of KZHT's listener's, this may be just another funny, quirky contest but , to my sister, winning this contest is no laughing matter.
My sister's teeth deteriorated due to a serious illness several years ago that resulted in 12 surgeries in a one year period. Thankfully, she recovered from the illness but, unfortunately, the illness weakened her teeth. This coupled with the lack of insurance for preventive care, lead to the situation Kim is in now.
Kim has been a single mom of four children for several years and has not been able to maintain steady work due to the deterioration of her smile. Kim is a people person who is loving, kind and funny and she enjoys working and caring for people. It is so sad for me to see Kim turn inward more and more as she loses her spirit because she doesn't smaile as much anymore.
Despite the slow erosion of Kim's smile and her confidence, Kim was able to recently graduate from school earning her Master Esthetician certificate. Unfortunately, Kim has not secured employment using her newly gained education because she doesn't feel she can use her skills to help others care for their skin and improve their health when she doesn't feel confident that others won't judge her for her looks.
It is my prayer that you select Kim as the winner of this contst. I fell that if she were to get the gift of a new smile, she would finally be able to put to rest the health problems she has had both from the surgeries and the physically and mentally painful road she has been on due to her dental problems. I am so thrilled to think that Kim will finally regain her confidence and be able to move forward with her dream of working in her chosen profession. She will be able to support the two children she still has living at home and may even consider seeking a relationship with someone or at least have some fun once in awhile laughit with friends!
Kim has tried to scrape together the money to pay to have her teeth fixed many times over the last few years. Kim always puts everyone ahead of herself and it shows. Kim never ceases to amaze me with het natural desire to give of herself until there is nothing left for her.
It is time for Kim to benefit from her generous heart. I hope you find it in your hear to feel the same and give my beautiful sister back her beautiful smile. I want to see her outer beauty match her inner beauty again!
